First things first, here is a dog.
It was made by Gia Gianetti and I found it on Reddit and mostly I just want to try it out. I have aspirations, of course, to make this really fucking 90s internet up in here, but I am still so pregnant and I need to keep the barrier to entry bar in hell for me to enjoy this. It can't be, like, a project that has a desired product attached to it. It has to be something I just noodle with, that either has an audience or it doesn't.
I've been trying to figure out how I know when I'm heading into birthing time since the last round of sensations lasted two days and then went away. The more I google it, the more I'm seeing that most people just...forget? I haven't really seen any descriptive language that's been of use to me in terms of putting it in my body and assessing if that's what I'm feeling or not. So I figured I'd give it a whirl myself, so at least I won't forget what it feels like. And maybe someone else will find my description of use? But it's okay if that never happens. I'm trying harder to be unuseful.
On October 30th and 31st, the front of my belly felt the way that balls look. Now I've never had balls, myself. So I can't vouch for the *feeling* being similar. But on the rare occasion that I have witnessed balls adjust themselves without any say-so from their owners, that *look* is what the belly skin and front muscules *feel* like.
Today, which is November 2nd, I had some tensing from *behind* the baby, but still in the middle of my body. Which felt like it *couldn't* feel like balls look, because the adjustment was far *heavier* than balls. This felt closer to period cramps where the cramps also have to deadlift a barbell. There's also a vag burning, which my partner googled and seems to just be about increased blood flow (it's not lightning crotch, I know what that feels like, I've had it the whole time). And then some intense downward pressure and like my butthole is going to split open. The more recent parts of this pregnancy have been very butthole-forward. When Bean has hiccups, I feel them in my butthole. So it's not surprising to me that I'm feeling the pressure there, too.
I'll need to keep going. But so far that's all I've felt.
